TOUCH THE EARTH

A SELF-PORTRAIT OF INDIAN EXISTENCE

Compiled by T.CMcLuhan

A selection of statements and writings by North American Indians with more than 50 pages of photographs, taken by the American photographer Edward S Curtis in the early years of this century complemented by text.

A brillant book full of history and amazing photos ( taken by a very famous photographer of his time) of the Indian people in their every day life, different tribes and great chiefs such as Jack red cloud, son of chief Red Coud, Ogiaia. There are many other chiefs of different tribes and their people.

It is a true account of what happened and how they were living written in their own words. It is a beautiful compiled book full of poems, stories and history.

Size: 6.5" by 8.5" in very good condition for age
