Can cost under £1 a year for security of having a tracker

The only running cost of the unit is for the data used and text messages sent from the unit, directly to your chosen mobile network. We do not charge you anything to use our website or mobile phone site to track your vehicles.

Only start paying when you need to use it

Unlike our competitors, you don’t have to pay anything when you don’t need to use the tracking. The unit can be always on, be able to send alarm messages, know it's position and awaiting your command.

The unit can go online and update the website with its position every 15 seconds by texting TRACK, or update the site with all the positions in memory by texting HISTORY to the unit.
Only after sending one of these commands will you start to get charged any data costs.

Data costs when approx 5p/hour when tracking and its 4p/SMS on the free bundled SIM card.

When you are finished, just text CLEAR and the tracker will stop sending data.
Even when the unit is off-line, it can still send SMS alarm messages and receive SMS commands.

Most UK Pay As You Go SIM cards stop working if you do not make a “chargeable event” within a certain time (usually between 60 and 180 days). To solve this problem and to give you added security that your vehicle is protected, we have put in a system check SMS message that tests the functionality of the unit and sends you a report every 60 days.

Fully programmable by SMS from your mobile

The unit is fully programmable by simple commands texted from your mobile.
Up to 3 numbers can be assigned to control the device.
It won’t accept commands from any unregistered numbers.
3 additional numbers can also be nominated to only receive messages.
We also give you a credit card size list of common commands for your wallet or purse.

SMS Alarm Messaging

Receive an SMS alarm message to your mobile (& other nominated numbers)
If your vehicle alarm is activated, The on-board accelerometer detects the vehicle is moving
If the vehicle leaves a user definable radius or if the internal backup battery level is low

Free Tracking Website

Track one or multiple vehicles in real-time on maps including Yahoo, Open Streetmap & Google There is also a dedicated website for quick display of the vehicle position on any web-enabled 2G or 3G mobile phone.

Remotely Immobilise your Vehicle by SMS

The unit has a relay that can be wired in line with the starter motor of the vehicle to disable it if stolen. Just text HALT to the unit, then use the free web or mobile phone site to monitor the vehicle. You can see when the ignition has been turned off and then the vehicle will be immobilised in that location.

You should contact the police to inform them of your stolen vehicle, then give them the location information.
Do not go and recover your vehicle without being instructed to by the police.

Low Power Usage

The unit’s built in accelerometer can turn the unit to standby mode when stationary and does not have to constantly update its location. This mode uses less than 10% of normal operating power, but still able to send and receive SMS messages. Unlike most other trackers, this means that the unit will not flatten your battery if left for long periods, such as when going on holiday. This makes the unit particularly suitable for smaller capacity batteries, as found on Motorbikes & Quads.

Ultra Low Power - Static Mode

“Static Mode” is a deep sleep mode that uses less than 0.01% of normal operating power, so it is possible to run for over a year on the internal backup battery.

This makes it suitable for trailers, horseboxes, caravans and boats without batteries. Although the unit cannot receive commands in this state, it will wake up and send an alarm message if triggered by the accelerometer or other external input, such as
an optional PIR module. The backup battery can also be topped up by a solar panel or external 5v battery pack.

Installation

It is possible to self install this system (especially in caravans and trailers), though we would advise that it is professionally fitted if you are using the immobiliser, unless you are used to working with vehicle electronics.
The tracker unit should be fitted internally in the vehicle, the antenna needs to have no metal covering it for best operation. A lot of our customers have installed the unit and the antenna covertly inside the dashboard cavity of the vehicle.

We can reccomend a nationwide team of mobile installers who will come to you to fit the device if required, though anywhere that is used to fitting immobilisers should be able to do it.

The unit comes with a cigarette lighter power plug fitted, to enable you to easily initally set up the unit. This can be removed for installation. It is also possible to keep this on and power the unit from a discrete socket at the rear of the vehicle if desired, or keep it in the glovebox.
