A fabulous very rarely seen volume on bentwood furniture
of Thonet, Jacob and Josef Kohn, Fischel, Mundus and others. It was published to
accompany an exhibition of a truly stunning collection: the book features 75
important items from the show in detail while a further 79 are indexed at the
rear. The coverage of the exhibition pieces is supplemented by several essays
providing insights into the historical and stylistic contexts. This is
a truly invaluable reference for any collector or Twentieth Century furniture
enthusiast.

reading table Condition. Very good. Internally very clean and bright with no inscriptions. The dustjacket has a little expected wear to the edges and a small horseshoe shaped tear on the spine.
