I am selling this boat on behalf of a friend of mine, Stewart Ross. He has owned and maintained and lived “part time” on the boat for the last five years. He has kept the boat in excellent order throughout his ownership, but now finds that it is time to return to living back on solid ground in a traditional house, and it is with much regret, but necessity that his boat is now for sale.
The boat is currently moored on the River Arun at Littlehampton, but can be moved under its own power by way of it‘s two well serviced engines.
It is of wood construction throughout with Old English White finish to the hull and Teak to the deck and cabins. Gross tonnage is 12.30. The boat has 3 cabins and also has Kitchen and shower/WC facilities on board. Headroom is 6’ throughout the accommodation area. Engines are 2 x GMC Diesel, which were installed in 1966. Condition throughout is absolutely stunning and well looked after.
HISTORY
The boat has an interesting history having seen service during the Second World War, although not as one would have imagined, for the Dunkirk evacuations, but for transporting spies between the Uk mainland, and Norway and Belgium. The boat is registered in the Port of Hull…… Number 167059
VIEWING IS ESSENTIAL & HIGHLY RECOMMENDED and for all further details and photographs. Please call
Stuart Ross on 07737 600217..........he's a really nice bloke and happy to talk and discuss anything about the boat.
