Description: The Rose Annual for 1927 of the National Rose Society. The preface states "The coloured illustrations of Roses that have appeared in past Annuals have been so much appreciated that the Committee have extended their number. They are not intended to advertise any Rose, but to afford those Members who are unable to visit the Shows, and our many over-seas friends, some idea of the novelties that have been staged for, and received an Award, during the year. No effort has been spared to make the pictures as true to nature as possible, and they are thought to be the last word in reproduction in colour." H/B 271 pages with coloured and black and white illustrations, and advertisements.
