These incredibly scarce, large volumes were published in 1893 & 1897, and have become touchstones on their subject.

'The Night Of The Gods' is still an enormously important  treatise on Cosmology, Mythology and Symbolism.

The second volume was published posthumously, and contains a memoir of the author John O'Neill.

Both have many black and white line  drawings, and have sepia frontispieces.

Volume One was published by Bernard Quaritch of Piccadilly in 1893.

Volume Two was published by David Nutt of The Strand in 1897.

It is rare to find both Volumes together.

Volume One has slight  fraying at the front edge of the spine.

Volume Two has slight fraying at the back edge of the spine.

Both though are tight in their blue cloth bindings. They have sold for more than £1000.

An absolute must for any esoteric library.
