THE MURDER MYSTERY TRICK

Pro Mind Magic Trick on a PC CD ROM

This is a very versatile trick, you can use happy families cards for children, cluedo cards for adults, or any other sort of cards that have male and female designs on them.

Effect:

A letter is given out at the start of the experiment sealed in an envelope with the words “From Sherlock Holmes” printed on the front to a spectator to keep safe. Three cards are produced as the players in this murder mystery. The performer turns his back and another spectator mixes the suspect cards up and lays them on the table. The spectator then selects one to be the murderer and places it in his left pocket. Then the victim is chosen and placed into the spectators right pocket. The final card is concealed in the spectators hands so the performer cannot see when he turns around – this is the witness to the crime. When this is done the performer turns around and asks the spectator with the sealed envelope to open and read aloud what The Famous Sherlock Holmes has written. To everyone's amazement Holmes has deduced the murderer, victim and the witness.

No secret writing - No swapping of envelopes – No handling of the props by the performer – No stooges – No pre-arrangement.

This is a professional mind trick.
