Titled: "IN THE BEGINNING"

 

This image was inspired by the Holy Ghost and painted in the spirit.
 
Genesis 1: 1         
"In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth."   
 
The Bible has a great deal to say about color and it's Biblical meaning. 
 
For example the color red represents, the blood of Christ. 
 
Yellow hues, grace through the Holy Spirit. 
 
White, the purity of God.  Blue and purple, royalty, the priesthood, etc. etc. 
 
All of Barry's Bible paintings are created from the colors of the Bible and each have meaning within the subject matter. 
 
The first artist in history to interpret the scriptures in this spiritual manner. 
 
"There is no greater challenge for an artist than to paint God. 
 
 
How do you paint what no man has ever seen?"  
 
In this painting, Barry created through the power of the Holy Spirit, an interpretation of the triune God's power as represented by three round spheres of glowing power. 
 
The white sphere as the pure power of God the father, the second red sphere, the power of Jesus, God's son, and the third yellow-gold color representing the power of the Holy Spirit. 
 
All three in one, creating the earth and all that was created.  Amen!
