THE AMATEUR MECHANIC VOLS 1 & 2, in a 4 book series. 

Published by the Waverley Book Co. Ltd, 7,8 & 9 Old Bailey, London, EC4.

These books have got lots of old drawings and photographs in, I dont know how old it is as it isnt dated, but their are illustrations of the old candlestick telephones, so I would imagine it was between 1900 and 1930.  The books are complete, but they have been badly recovered, and have been well used.
