TDS Meter Reverse Osmosis Aquariums Water Tester Solid

If you own an aquarium, water cooler or filter, or other water purification system that uses a reverse osmosis membrane then the only way you will know if it’s working correctly is to use a TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) tester.

This slim line pen style TDS meter, once calibrated, enables you to do just that. The TDS is the total weight of all solids (minerals, salts and metals) that are dissolved in the water and the lower the TDS level is, the purer the water is. If it's drinking water - the more efficiently your body is hydrated by it, but the higher the TDS levels, the greater the probability of there being harmful contaminants in it.

If you drink filtered water and you value you and your families’ health then it makes sense to test the water you are drinking – and if the TDS levels are too high then this is a sign that your reverse osmosis membrane needs changing.

The same simple theory applies to your aquarium. Purer, cleaner water = happier, healthier fish!
