Organic Jojoba Oil (Simmondsia chinensis) Softens, protects and helps the skin hold in moisture and has anti-inflammatory & anti-bacterial properties. Jojoba oil has a natural SPF of about 3 thus helps protect you from the sun and wind and its its protective waxes stop trans epidermal water loss. The oil is very stable and does not oxidise easily thus does not turn rancid like some other oils do over time.
Organic Rice Bran Oil(Oryza sativa) A good source of omega 6 essential fatty acid has natural SPF of 4 and helps Absorb UV rays, has skin nourishing properties & antioxidants.
Organic Coconut Oil(Cocos nucifera) Known as the tree of life. It contains monounsaturated fatty acids, which has been shown to have anti-oxidant properties with potential benefits for the skin.It softens and protects skin and helps prevent dryness, reduces inflammation and kills fungi and other skin infections.
Candellila Wax (Euphorbia antisyphilitic, pedilanthus pavonis) Natural vegetable wax extracted from the candelilla plant that has extraordinary film forming & protecting properties and is an effective emollient.
Organic Tamanu Oil(Calophyllum inophyllum) Tamanu oil is a remarkable healing oil with skin healing, anti-inflammatory, anti neuralgic, antimicrobial, antibiotic and antioxidant properties. Its anti-inflammatory properties reduce rashes, sores, swelling and abrasions
Natural Vitamin E (Tocopherol acetate, Glycine Soya Oil, Helianthuus Annuus Seed Oil) Vitamin E is a classic antioxidant, which protects against the destruction of the connective tissue caused by free radical damage.
Organic Artic Black Current Extract (Ribes nigrum, Rosmarinus officinalis) Plant containing omega 3 and 6 and is an excellent skin nourishing and rejuvenating properties. Because black current contains a small amount stearidonic acid this in turn reduces skin inflammation by suppressing the release of arachidonic acid
Organic Echium seed Extract (Echium Plantagineum Seed Oil) Contains omega 3 & 6 essential fatty acids and high amounts of stearidonic acid which helps reduce inflammation by suppressing the release of arachidonic acid.
Organic Calendula Extract (Calendula officinalis, Simmondsia chinensis) Well known for its healing properties and soothing for sensitive skin.
Rosemary Extract(Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract) Used for its anti-oxidant properties.
Organic Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) Calming restorative properties. The essential oil is antiseptic and soothes and cools inflamed skin.
Benzoin(Styrax Benzoin)Antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, carminative, deodorant. Calming for redness, itchiness and irritation.
Thyme(Thymus vulgaris) It is a good anti septic and safeguards wounds and sores against infections. This is due to a number of components like Caryophyllene and Camphene in this essential oil thus inhibits bacterial growth.
