The pinnacle of his life's work, The Power Of The Pendulum documents Lethbridge's research into the skill he and many others possess - dowsing by pendulum. Through intelligent experiment he drew conclusions, developed theories, and eventually built theories on life after death that seem to be more like a conclusion to a matter which has held humanity's fascination for millenia.

There are, perhaps, two or three books which everyone should be urged to read, and this is one of them. After reading it in 1994 I've never forgotten the solid developments, and the implications have never been far from my thoughts.

Lethbridge died while this book was still in draft form, leaving us with the irony that maybe he discovered whther his theories were right. While the media bombards us with unsound research and hastily drawn conclusions, that the research in this book has been so ruthlessly under-exposed is a great pity.
