The LS1908T-I000 "Cobra" laser barcode scanner by Symbol/Motorola is a highly popular lightweight USB barcode scanner that is ideal for all general purpose work on retail items, books, DVDs, postage labels etc. It is in used condition with very superficial signs of normal use, and like all our scanners, works perfectly. The scanner works straight out of the box without setup, special software, drivers or separate power supply. It is the most advanced model of the LS19xx Cobra class, not to be confused with the non-USB LS1902T or the triggerless LS1902C. HOW DOES IT WORK ?  This lightweight, flexible scanner reads at close range up to about 12 inches from the target. Connecting barcode scanners through USB is great where you don't have a normal ps/2 keyboard required by the older style ps/2 keyboard scanners, or where you need to connect to a LAPTOP. The first time the scanner is connected to the USB port the keyboard emulation Windows HID (Human interface driver) installs and thereafter when a scan occurs the characters from the barcode appear on screen at the current cursor position as if they had been typed in, so any application that will accept typed characters will work with this scanner!
