Superb old school wooden wall clock 17 ins diam

An old wooden wall clock with character... this hung on my Grandmothers wall for years..reputed to be from the Old School in the village.. we, as children, referred to it as the Old School clock.  Unfortunately it does not fit in with my home and so reluctantly has to go, to a good home I hope.  17 1/2 inches in diameter, 4 inches deep..it has a box on the back with all the working inside..there is a notice on the back giving details of how to work it.  Both the hands are present..I do not have a key for it I am sorry to say.  The makers mark is on the face but some of it has come away.. I can make out a ball inside a diamond shape..the ball is divided into 4..and the letters still present are B and U.. underneath the four letters is Ld...which I assume is Limited. Either side the diamond is TRADE MARK... I am sure that you experts out there will know who the maker is, perhaps you might share that knowledge with me ?

I am in the process of clearing out not only my loft but also that of my Grandmother.  This item is from my Grandmothers house
