Victorian Sterling Silver Teapot

Made in London, by Edward, John & William Barnard, in 1850.

A Superb Victorian Sterling Silver Teapot.  Made in London, in 1850, by Edward, John & William Barnard.  A Globe Teapot with a scroll handle and Melon Finial.  Aristocratic Crest to the side with a Griffin with a Crown Collar. This is a real collectors teapot it ticks the boxes.  Made from a good weight of silver in very good condition with a large area of undecorated silver. Making this teapot RARE with an Aristocratic crest so with some history, of design interest as a large globe plain with just a dribble of decoration down the spout. Very good, very fine teapot in good order.      

Condition: 

The Marks:  All Very Well Struck.  Hallmarked to the lid, the finial and the base.

The Teapot:  Very Good.  No Splits, dents or repairs.
