Description

Superb Signed Painting  - Falklands War

Details

This auction is for a superbly executed painting of members of the 2 Para, 26th April 1982, in the Falklands War.

In the centre a soldier carries a Bren Gun.

The painting is signed Ste White and I was told that he is or was a member or 2 Para.

The painting is very powerful and skilfully executed.  The details, eg the hand are superb (hands are very hard to paint).

The painting is on canvas which is on board and will look superb framed.

It measures 24" in length  and is 15.5" wide.

If you recognise someone, please let me know!

Condition

There is a scratch/rub to the paint on the beret of the central soldier.  This is the only, and very minor, damage.
