DESCRIPTION

Sensicore strings are Perlon cored and produce a rich full-bodied sound. The Octave set will drop the pitch of your violin by one full Octave to that of a baritone violin, just one fifth above a Cello.

GENERAL ADVICE

Octave strings achieve there lower pitch because of their increased mass, they do not require higher tension than normal violin strings therefore you need not be concerned about overloading your violin.

I also stock an Octave C string for violin so you may drop a further fifth to the same pitch as a Cello.

I also supply octave strings to fit viola.

I include full fitting instruction with each set.
