Sunset Villa outside the village of Glossa on Skopelos island This self-catering holiday villa is offered for the week of 14 - 21 August 2009 (7 nights). The price is the price for the property for the week. It is close to the beautiful traditional village of Glossa on Skopelos island where 'Mamma Mia' was filmed, and only 10 minutes walk to the nearest beach. The nearest airport is on the neighbouring island of Skiathos, and there are direct flights from many UK airports from May to October, mainly Wednesdays and Fridays. From there it is only 15 minutes on the hydrofoil to Glossa. Skopelos island has many beautiful beaches and pine-covered hills for you to explore. The villa is situated on a quiet green hillside and has wonderful sea views. There is a double bed in the bedroom and a double sofa-bed in the sitting room. It is very well equipped and beautifully furnished. There are panoramic views across the Aegean to the islands of Evia and Skiathos, and the many small uninhabited islands dotted around the coast. To the west is the hillside village of Glossa, and on the coast there is a good view of the little harbour of Loutraki with its beaches and tavernas. You can walk down a quiet shady footpath to Loutraki in 10 minutes. There is a bus stop within 3-4 minutes walk, and from there you can reach all the main beaches of the island. |
