Detailed double page town plan from G.W. Bacon's 'Large Scale Atlas of London and Suburbs' first published in 1900. Consisting of 34 attractively produced plans this popular series was continuously reissued and updated until the early 1930s. George Washington Bacon (1830 - 1922) was an American who came over to work in England. His career took off when he started publishing maps of the American Civil War in London.
With great attention to detail these maps are extremely popular with local residents, historians and genealogists.
Scale: 4 inches per mile.
