Doulton Burslem Morrisian Vase 12" - Some Restoration

Measures 12" high x 9.75" diameter at rim, weighs 4kg unpackaged

Dates to circa 1901-1924

This stunning large vase has undergone some professional and hard to detect restoration at some point in the past - the areas affected seem to be the base rim (see photos 8,9,10) the top rim (see photos 11, 12 of the outside rim as viewed from the side, 13,14,15,16 for different views of the inside rim as viewed from the top).  The restoration can be felt as slightly thickened areas on the vase (see pics 13 and 14 - the white marks are not scratches but reflections) and a slight variation to the pattern which has been copied closely but is still detectable on close inspection.

On the whole though this large vase is stunning and still displays well.  Has fine all over crazing to the glaze but is otherwise undamaged.

Due to the wieght and frailty of the item overseas postage will not be possible I'm afraid.

UK will be sent by a fully insured, signed for and trackable postal service.
