Strathspey- new 10x42 compact Waterproof Binoculars

These are a bit smaller than our 50mm binoculars, handy for many applications. They use roof instead of Porro prisms to make the design less bulky. Small enough to easily fit in your glovebox, rucksack or paniers. They are very easy to hold for long periods.

Our waterproof models not only have watertight seals but are nitrogen filled to avoid condensation. The optics are level IV and the prisms are BAK-4, so these are our highest quality. They also have a more attractive carrying case. Five layers of optical coating on every air-glass bondary, all the way through the binocular! Very high light transmission compared to normal binoculars.

The result is a nice light set of binoculars which give extremely sharp images even in low light conditions. They also have a generously wide field of view. Perfect for bird watching or hill walkers. Our similar 8x42 model has a wider field of view and is even used by Police firearms teams, an application where only the best will do!

The eyecups twist up and down, this saves space when stored. If you wear glasses just leave them down for a perfect eye relief setting. If you don't wear spectacles just give them a quick twist and they'll position the eyepieces at just the right distance from your pupil.

Our binoculars come with a padded carrying case with neck strap, cleaning cloth and lens caps.

We prefer to take debit cards if possible as credit cards charge us a 3.5% fee.

Price includes VAT, a VAT receipt will be sent with the binoculars unless you ask us not to (if they're a present for example). If you're outside the UK and can give me a VAT number in your EC country I don't need to add it. If you're outside the EC you don't need to pay either.
