'For many years we consistantly sold Noel Riley's 'Antique pocket guide to Tea Caddies', at the time published by Lutterworth Press in Cambridge. It was the only readily available book on the popular subject of tea caddies, a major part of our business.
In 2001 we contacted Lutterworth Press with our usual order for more books but were told that they were not planning to print any more. After some discussion with them we ended up buying the title and rights to the book. Shades of the Victor Kiam story: he loved the razor so much he bought the company; we loved the book so much we bought the copyright!
Noel Riley has revised the book using colour photographs from our extensive library and expanding the text; we all think it is a considerable improvment on the original and hope you enjoy it.
