Sterling Professional Baritone Horn in Silver Plate Finish - Used Model in Very Good Condition - Built Approx. 1998 This Bb compensating baritone horn, serial number 750923, was built around 1998 by Paul Riggett in the UK. Paul was previously manufacturing manager at Boosey & Hawkes, before leaving to manufacture brass instruments un the Sterling name - all based on the successful Besson Sovereign Globe models that he himself made in the 1980's. For details visit sterlingbrass.co.uk This particular instrument was purchased from one of our brass band players in the Essex area, who is unfortunately not now able to play. He purchased it from new and looked after it very well. The instrument is in very good cosmetic condition; It is without significant dents, wear, marks or scratches; the silver plate is intact, although you can see/feel sone small areas where our technician has removed dents during the service/preparation work - particularly on the knuckle of the 3rd tuning slide, 1st tuning slide and compensating 2nd loop. Our technicians have prepared and serviced the valves and slides, and they are in perfect working order. The instrument is supplied in the original wood-shell hard case, which is in good order and supplied with case lock keys. There is no mouthpiece, although one can be supplied for between £25 and £70.
