Beautiful, spare, Stella McCartney jacket from her first H & M collection. It's described as size 38, but I'd say it's in between a 10 and a 12. It's made of finest wool twill with a black satin lining. The fabric has a very slight sheen so that it doesn't pick up fluff as most black wool jackets do. All the details are just right - the 3cm mandarin collar, front edges, hem and cuffs have a 1mm rouleau edge of semi-matt satin, the same fabric covers the five front buttons and two on each cuff (there are extra buttons of both sizes attached). The waistline is nipped in with six tucks across the back and four on each side at the front above pocket flaps. The belt, also with a narrow rouleau edging, fastens with a self covered buckle. Back of neck to hem length is 55cm. The jacket has a neat chain hanger.
