Carbon fibre is one of the strongest
composits used in manufacturing today giving an unrivaled strength for
its unit weight. In addition to its strength, it has become an
increasingly popular material for trimming the interiors of supercars
due to the visual impact of the intricate weave pattern of the fibres.
Many top marques like Aston Martin and Bentley now use carbon fibre on
the interiors of their vehicles and this has created demand for
aftermarket Carbon Fibre interiors for cars like the Range Rover where
this options is not supported by the Manufacturer.
Powerful UK has been able to source a
range of interior parts for the Discovery 3 that are trimmed with real
carbon fibre and then lacquered.
This steering wheel is a genuine
Landrover Steering Wheel that has be professionally re-trimmed by hand
and as such poses no airbag compatibility issues.
The airbag and control switches on your
steering wheel are swapped from your old wheel to your new wheel so
there are no compatibility issues. You will receive a bare steering
wheel core fully retrimmed.
The sales price for this item is the
exchange price, as we need your steering returned to re-trim for the
next customer. ( A surcharge of £125 applies if the customer fails to
return their original core within two weeks ). You can either send your original
core back first or call us with your card details as way of deposit.
