Starflower oil, also known as borage oil, contains Gamma Linoleic Acid (GLA), a good omega 6 fatty acid, which is extracted from the seeds of the starflower. Starflower oil offers the richest source of this beneficial fatty acid, possessing a strength which is almost twice as much as Evening Primrose Oil.

 

GLA is required by the body in order to produce hormone-like substances known as prostaglandins.
