Stainless Steel Chimney Cooker Hood (for 60cm electric or gas hobs) [Free P&P] Description This Stainless Steel cooker hood, for installation over an electric or gas hob in domestic kitchens, can be used for extraction – to the outside of a building – or for recirculation [contains all fittings required for extraction, not supplied with external grill nor the fitting to it]. Equipped with a powerful 3-speed electric motor and non stick grease filter, it produces strong suction. Simple to use, with push-button control and quiet in operation, the hood is easy to clean and maintain.

The chimney can be extended from 400mm to 780mm. Twin 40W lights give plenty of work surface illumination. Ducted extraction Ducted extraction is the most effective solution where the hood can be mounted on an outside wall or the outside wall can be reached using ducting. [Hood supplied with 2m of 150mm flexible ducting and is a "push-fit" to the hood] Recirculation If an outside wall cannot be reached, the hood can be set up for recirculation. The air is drawn in and cleaned first by the grease filters and then by a charcoal filter. The cleaned air is then re-circulated back into the kitchen through grilles in the top of the cooker hood extension piece. [A charcoal or carbon filter is recommended in recirculation mode. The carbon filters should be replaced at 6 month intervals, dependent on use - not supplied with hood]
PLEASE NOTE Unfortunately at present we do not supply the carbon filters recommended for recirculation mode so please check the availability and compatibility with someone who sells charcoal filters before purchasing the hood for recirculation mode.
