Description key

NH - unmounted (or never hinged) mint

MM - previously hinged (usually one hinge) or hinge remainder

Mint - Large hinge but otherwise full gum

Unused - No gum but in otherwise good condition

SFM - mint spacefiller due to a number of defects

VFU - Very Fine Used

FU - Fine Used

AU - used and in good collectable condition

CDS - used with date stamp

SFU - used spacefiller due to number of defects

PP - pulled perf (or 2PP 2 pulled perfs etc)

Returns Policy

If you consider the item not to be as described please contact me by email first with your concern. If we cannot come to a satisfactory agreement I will accept return of the item as long as it is sent back in the condition it was supplied and refund your payment. The returns policy is only valid for 30 days from the date of sale unless agreed in advance that period will be extended (eg for certification).  As a member of the Philatelic Traders Society I will always endeavour to come to a satisfactory conclusion for both parties.

Postage and Packaging and Insurance

Postage and packing is as per the invoice for a single item. If you purchase more than one item please wait for me to issue the invoice as I will amalgamate the charge.  If you want the item to be sent by recorded delivery please either request and I will reissue the invoice or you may add £0.75 within the UK or £3.75 for elsewhere in the world.  Should you want Special Delivery (UK only) please add £4.60 to the cost shown.

Should the total of your purchases exceed £100 (or I deem it sensible) I will assume that recorded delivery is required and issue the invoice on that basis.  If you do not wish this then it would be at your risk.

I always obtain proof of posting and retain them for 3 months.  Should anything go missing in the post I will assist in the recovery of payment against the post office.

 Under both recorded and special delivery there is no insurance. 

Insurance is available to most countries in the world.  If you item(s) are valued at less than £250 the cost will be 1% of the invoiced total above £250 the cost depends on the nature of item and country being sent to and I will show cost.  I will add insurance as optional to invoice and you merely need to pay to have the cover operative.

Payment Instructions

I will issue the Ebay invoice normally on day of auction completion confirming the amount due. I will issue the reminder after about 7 days and then the Non Paying Bidder Alert 21 days after the auction finishes.  If you do not pay 7 days after this I will complete the Non Paying Bidder process which will also bar you from bidding on further auctions I offer.

If you have genuine difficulties please email me as I will take comments made into consideration.

Personal cheques are accepted but on UK banks and in Sterling (£) only please. If you are outside of the UK you can request your bank to draw a sterling (£) cheque which is acceptable.

In certain circumstances I will accept other payments but you MUST contact me first for agreement.

If paying by Paypal buyers from the Hong Kong and similar area must have "Confirmed" status or be able to provide evidence of their genuineness.

Private Auctions

I now have all my auctions as Private Auctions so the bidders details are not shown to anyone but me.  This is because there have been a number of occasions recently when others pretending to be me have sent second chance offers.  You may now be sure that if you receive a second chance offer it is genuinesly from me.

Scan(s)

The scan shows the actual item(s) that you will receive.  I always scan in the item(s) I am selling for each individual sale so even if I have more than one of anything you will receive the one shown in the scan.

Should you need any additional information please contact me at any time athough please be aware that I am unlikely to be able to respond within the last 12 hours of any auction.  I will usually post out your item(s) on the next working day after the receipt of cleared funds.
