Tia Greyhound & Lurcher Rescue is situated in Cragg Vale, West Yorkshire, and is an independent charity that has been dedicated to rescuing & rehoming abandoned, abused and mistreated ex-racing greyhounds & lurchers since 1997.

Bluebell is a beautiful blue and white Greyhound girl born in Ireland in 2005. 

Somehow she ended up at Westhoughton Racetrack in 2007 but wasn't any good.

Bluebell is the only one of her litter to survive.  They were all too scared to race, too scared to be handled, just too scared of everything.  

At Tia we have kennels housing around 90 dogs waiting for their "forever home" and rehome around 200 dogs a year; but Bluebell will not be one of them.  She is still nervous, far too nervous to be rehomed but she is safe now  and will stay in our care for the rest of her life. 

You can help by sponsoring her for one month for only £10, contributing towards her food, vets bills and general care. 

In return you will receive:

  • the knowledge that your sponsorship will make a real difference to Bluebell and the 90 or so other dogs at our kennels
