This auction is for 8 BRASS CONICAL Protective Pads for Speaker Spikes.

The design of each type of SpeakerPadMan pad is unique. This design range, the 'Large Conical', complements the Ø15.0 mm versions also available. The pads can be used in conjunction with spiked speakers, spiked speaker stands or spiked Hi-Fi equipment stands.

Simply place each pad directly underneath each spike so that the spike fits into the cone of each pad in order:

1. To protect your hardwood or laminate flooring from spike marks.
2. To ensure that only point contact is made between the spike and the contact material. This will prevent unwanted sound energy loss.

The ‘Protective Pads’ are hand made & finished from aluminium or brass to suit your required taste. This auction is for 8 brass pads, enough for two speakers, two Hi-Fi racks or two speaker stands.

The face of each pad that makes contact with your floor is hand lapped (polished) ensuring no machining marks (like the rings on the surface of a vinyl record) are imprinted onto your floor. These are high quality made protective pads.

The dimensions of the Speaker Spike ‘Protective Pads’ are:

Diameter 19mm (0.75 inches) and 5mm (0.2 inches) thick.

The cone dimple is 90° inclusive to happily accommodate all sizes & types of spike.
