Spectacular Daum Lamp Base

Description

A very fine cameo, olive green and orange glass Lamp Base

Complete with original fittings, ceramic bulb holder (small screw type - 1.5 cm diameter) and wiring which ought to be replaced

Measures 9 inches (22 cm high)

Unsigned but clearly attributable to Daum, Nancy

Perfect condition (if only the shade were still there!). Without the corresponding shade (unless you are lucky enough to have one) this Base could be well-matched with a plain glass or fabric shade.

Shipping

Shipping will be within 2 days of receiving payment. Standard, economy post (SwissPost) will be used - this normally takes 2-3 weeks from Switzerland to the USA but please note that it can sometimes take longer if the package is held up at Customs. Within Europe, the time is usually 3-4 days. If you are located elsewhere, please contact me for a shipping time estimate. In all cases, the shipping time can be significantly speeded up if Priority post is used but incurs an additional cost (not covered by the free shipping offer). Please contact me prior to making payment if this service is required. Please note that any Customs Duty payable will be for the account of the Buyer. For buyers within the European Union, there will not normally be any such duty payable but, if it is charged, then I will fully reimburse the Buyer. Sometimes, I will decide to post from Germany instead of Switzerland to ensure that no duty is payable by EU buyers. I always post items using Registered Post - this provides both Insurance Cover and Proof of Delivery, an essential protection for both buyer and seller.

Terms of Sale

All sales are final. However, if you feel on receiving the item that my description is not accurate then I will offer a full refund less postage costs on receipt of the item in the same condition as when originally shipped by me. Please bear in mind that antiques by their nature will have imperfections - they are not "factory fresh"! In detailing the current condition of the item in the listing, it is the combination of the written description and the photos which is being represented. If you review my feedback record, you will see that it is extremely good, overall and in respect of item descriptions.
