★ Sony TA AV490 Hi Fi & AV Amp needs one repair

Sony Audio Visual Amplifier          

 UK Model.

Hardware would have been described virtually as new as it has not, in fact, been used that much.

But there seems to be some fault in the level of audio output.

A user should be able to connect two pairs of loudspeakers for surround sound effect, but the levels are not correct.

This is not necessarily all that a professional might find, but it is most all that seller and various other listeners can

honestly discern. 

Seller is not an engineer and is reluctant to proceed with repair, hence offered as spares. Sold as seen.

No-one can guarantee, but if buyer can do what is needful, then, might well get a landmark bargain .

Original manual of instructions supplied.

Buyer supplies their own wireless remote control unit and all the usual cables.

Original branded exterior brown carton box supplied.

Hardware will be protectively enclosed within bubblewrap inside the carton box.

Seller does not normally make such comments on eBay, but for what it is worth, it breaks my heart to sell it.

It was a heck of a piece of kit.

I genuinely hope it goes to someone who can fix it, and will appreciate it.

This is an elegant piece of hi-fi equipment : the photograph does not really do it justice.

If you can correct its good performance, it would look great as part of any system.
