This Hi-Fi is fantastic, as you'd expect from a Sony, and was top of the range in it's day.
  It's main feature is the Mini Disc Player/Recorder, but it also does many other things:

• Minidisc Player (Long Play x 4, Long Play x 2)
• FM/AM Tuner
• Cassette Player
• CD Player
• CD --> Cassette, CD --> MD or Cassette --> MD Auto Sync,

 This feature allows you to record from one format to the other at speeds up to 4 x faster than real speed.

• Mini Disc Recorder
  

(Long Play x 4, Long Play x 2, these options increase the amount you can fit on one disc by 2 or 4 times!)

It was bought brand new for £240 in 2002.  Since then it has been connected to my television via an optical lead for crystal clear amplified sound, great for movies! 

As a lot of my music is computer based, it has been connected to my computer for a long time and works great as an extra set of computer speakers for parties, etc. 
In true Sony style this Hi Fi produces an amazing sound, good for any size room!

The display screen, back-lit orange, is very easy on the eyes and the whole system is very user-friendly.   

Although I no longer have the box for the Hi Fi, I do still have the instruction/operation manual and original Remote Control!

The device is classed as used, because it has been, but it is still in fantastic working order.  Not one function/part of the system is any worse condition than a new one.
