Sony AIBO ERS-111

"AIBO" ERS-111 was Sony's robot designed as a new kind of home entertainment. Utilizing advanced technology, this "entertainment robot" expands on the features of robots which have only existed in the realm of sci-fi's and such.

I initially entered a lottery back in 1999, and was one of the lucky few in the United States to actually have the opportunity of purchasing this AIBO which is now considered a collectable item. I originally paid $2500 for this AIBO, but now I must sell. This AIBO is essentially new, I've removed it from the box, but that is it. It has all the original items accessories, packaging, everything and is in excellent running condition. It's pretty much been sitting inside a closet for 10 years.

  • Autonomous robot, AI technology to encourage human and robot coexistence
  • Comes with it's own charging station, which AIBO sits atop to charge
  • Comes with 2 lithium ion battery packs, one of which inserts into AIBO's behind (DOH) and the other remains in the charger for charging
  • Memory stick also included and is appropriately inserted in the back where the battery goes.
  • AIBO comes with a remote control unit, so you can make it do things or communicate with.
  • AIBO comes with a Pink Ball to play with
  • AIBO responds to touch, sounds and visuals
  • Includes charging adaptor and all instructional manuals
  • BEST PART: It includes the "AIBO PERFORMER" motion editor, so if you really what to be a rocket scientist you can program your own motion routines into this robot. Kit includes another Sony memory stick and a PCMCIA card which conveniently slides into the pc card slot on your laptop computer to program the information. Designed for Windows 98/95, but should work with newer systems. Package is sealed like it came from the factory.
