The watch comes with a luxury wooden gift box.

The watch has been cleaned and serviced and is in good working order however the watch does have a curious quirk. Upon winding and setting the watch, the watch almost immediately looses 3 minutes but then stays at that 3 minute loss for the next 24 hours.

This is a top quality pocket watch retailed by the legendary firm Tiffany & Co. The watch has clear assay marks for 18K Gold.

The watch is signed Tiffany on the dial and case. The movement is unsigned.

The watch has a minute repeater function activated by a slide on the side of the case. When you push the slide away from you, towards the stem, the watch chimes the hours, quarters and minutes by two internal hammers striking against gongs inside the case.

For 1.17. The watch would strike 1 ding, then a ding-ding, then ding, ding. Denoting 1 hour, 1 quarter and then two minutes past the quarter. 5.52, would be ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding-ding, ding-ding, ding-ding, then ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding.

The watch has a clear bright chime and works well.

Movement – the nickel finger bridge movement has 17 + jewels and a lever escapement. The movement is signed “Swiss” and is in 75% mint condition – under close inspection with an eye glass there are a lot of fine scratches.

Case – the movement comes in a solid 18K gold open face case, which has a hinged inner, back and bezel. The case is signed inside the back cover “Tiffany & Co, Makers” # 11502.

The case has a smooth plain finish and is in 95% mint condition – a pristine case but the inner is just a little thin.

Dial – the white enamel dial is signed “Tiffany & Co” and is in 99% mint condition – being ultra picky, if you remove the bezel there are some tiny flakes right on the rim of the dial.

The watch measures 48mm wide x 15mm deep

The watch is stem wound / stem set

The watch has a mineral glass
