Soft Blue Marie Antoinette Gown - Fit only for a Queen!

The bodice is made from silky soft white velvet to give a nice definition in the textures of this dress. The front stomache area is from absolute last of this fabulous light blue lace material in a beautiful and feminine scrolled floral design and shot through with a fabulous metallic gold and silver thread - simply stunning! The overskirt is made from yards and yards of fabulous Blue Tafetta material. with a shimmering life of it's own. The 3/4 length sleeves are finished off with a 1" ruffle of the stomache blue/metallic lace material and finished off with an oh-so-soft 6" polyester white lace with floral details and the elbow has a gorgeous double bow of blue satin ribbon and one of the Tafetta skirt material! Bodice is trimmed with a sparkling white 1 1/2" lace which also has a metallic silver design. This trim sits saucily around the neck and down the front of the stomacher to the 'v'. Bodice front has bows made of the Tafetta skirt material and finished off with a subtle but glimmering sequin middle. All in all, a dress guaranteed to stop the show!!!

Overskirt is carefully attached to the bodice by flat pleat design, this allows the waist to lay flat and flattering without any bunchiness - well worth the time. Overskirt is also carefully handsewn at the hem, there is no machine sewing showing on the outer dress!! Underskirt hem is finished but not hemmed - ready for your personal adjustment!

Bodice is lined in comfortable and durable white cotton and has button back. Overskirt is attached to bodice and is unlined as to not weight down the underskirt. Bodice is done up at back with buttons which I prefer as it leaves a bit of room for a personal and sleek adjustment. Underskirt is made from sparkling with Cotton with button back waistband.

I just love the Powder Blue coloring, there is simply nothing to match the soft alluring aura that it gives out. This beauty is made from a top quality medium weight Tafetta material - enough weight to hold nicely it's own shape and whisper and crackle as you glide around the room. Tafetta simply has to be one of my favorite materials for these gowns, the irredescence of it, the whole feel and sound of it, - makes it a favorite!!

As with all fine quality clothes they require care, I would definitely NOT throw this beauty in the washing machine!! Please dryclean, not only will it keep this dress in beautiful condition for years to come! Also, with drycleaning there is no ironing (Yay!) with the many yards of material on this Gown that alone is worth it!
