"SMITHS ENGLISH CLOCK SYSTEMS" "MADE IN ENGLAND"
I've had this timer for 40 years, but I don't know how old it is. Approx. dimensions:- 8" glass, 10" backplate, 3" depth.
To start:- pull down on side lever (a cord can be attached) , to stop push up. Pushing down on the top lever zeroes the hands & winds it up.
Seconds are read from the large face, minutes (up to 10) from the small. It seems to still be accurate. It can stand on it's own base, or be wall mounted (either by 4 holes in backplate or 2 slotted holes in rear) It's in good condition (glass not cracked), but the screwheads are a bit rusty, and the paintwork looks a bit tired.
On 19-May-08 at 20:15:53 BST, seller added the following information:The timer weighs nearly 2 Kg. If it has to be posted to an address in the u.k., the post & packing for minimal protection is £7.50 (£7.12 to Post Office for up to 2Kg - Recorded Signed For)
If you'd prefer a heavier packing for better protection, the p&p leaps to £9.00 (£8.94 to P.O. for up to 4Kg - Recorded Signed For)
