The Tudor Rose is the flower emblem of England, formed from the white rose of York and the red rose of Lancaster by Henry the Eighth to symbolize the peaceful union of the 2 warring houses under the Tudor dynasty. This lovely design has the Rose surrounded by gold borders and a frame of blackwork to show it's Royal and Tudor origin.Intended as a small picture, this is just as effective as a card design or for needlework accessories.
The kit contains 14ct Aida fabric, embroidery threads, a needle, chart and instructions.The size of the design is 12cm square. The kit is unopened.
Like many other stitchers I've collected more kits and canvases over the years than I can possibly use so I'm passing some of them on to others who'll enjoy working them. All the items I have on sale are from my smoke and pet free home and will be packaged carefully and posted without delay.
