SLAZENGER ANSER STYLE BRASS PUTTER, BEAUTIFULLY RE-FURBISHED HEAD

You may have seen a few Slazenger/Ping putters advertised for several hundred pounds each! These putters were the collaboration between the two companies before Ping manufactured their own. Slazenger was one of the foremost golf club makers of the day.

This putter is an original Slazenger version in the Anser style and whilst it would be nice to sell it for that sort of money, I have more modest expectations!

 

The brass head has been refurbished to a very high standard

The shaft has part of the original band in place and has no pitting or other marks

The grip is an Avon trackline which is in great condition, still feeling soft to hold with no apparent wear

 

This rare putter is very usable, having lovely balance and weight with a soft feel on impact. It is 35 inches long. It would also be of interest to collectors.
