TYPICAL QUESTION

I have an existing Sky package and normal digi box. Is it a case of just removing my existing sky card and fitting into the sky+ box to enable its use. 

ANSWER

No,you will have to ring Sky to get them to re-align your card to the new box.It is done over the phone and doesnt cost anything,providing you are already subscribing to Sky Movies or Sky Sports.All other  packages will incur a £10 a month subscription for the recording facility but you have to have the minimum subscription(if that makes sense !).

You will also need a quad lnb and either an extra cable or specially designed Sky Plus twin cable as the box has two inputs.

The quad lnb will also allow you to put your existing box in another room for either freesat coverage or multiroom (multiroom subject to subscription but freesat is free)

Please note all required items are available under seperate listings from me and will be free postage if purchased at the same time.
