Ultimate Beauty SKIN REPAIR Topical Oil (Organic)

This 99.9% organic topical oil blend is formulated without synthetic fragrances or colourings.  It is a delicate, nourishing, easily-absorbed skin therapy oil to help with the appearance of stretch marks and uneven skin tone.  Rosehip seed oil contains a natural tretinoin also known as retinoic acid, a derivative of vitamin A.  Not for internal use.

Organic Sunflower Oil

Sunflower oil is a rich source of oleic acid with high amounts of Vitamins A, D, and E. Vitamin E is a major anti-oxidant that helps to bring nourishment to skin cells. Sunflower oil forms a protective layer on the skin to prevent loss of moisture. Organic Sunflower Oil also has beneficial amounts of lecithin, and unsaturated fatty acids. It is deeply nourishing and conditioning for the skin and it is highly recommended for massage, designed to treat dry, weathered, aged, and damaged skin. Our organic sunflower oil is easily absorbed and applied.

Organic Borage Oil

Borage oil is a little known secret for keeping your skin healthy. It is natural oil that can restore moisture and smoothness to dry and damaged skin, but can also provide relief to people who suffer from skin disorders such as eczema and dermatitis. Borage oil has a moisture-retaining effect, preventing drying of the skin, and increases the cell’s ability to absorb oxygen and to withstand disease.

Organic Jojoba Oil

Since Jojoba is composed of wax esters, it is an extremely stable substance and does not easily deteriorate.  The oil’s structure closely resembles that of the skin’s sebum, making it an excellent moisturiser and ideal for all skin types.

When used as a massage medium, it acts as an emulsifier with the skin's natural sebum and gently unclogs the pores and lifts grime and imbedded impurities.  It contains myristic acid which also has anti-inflammatory actions and since it has a similar in composition to that of the skin's own oils, it is quickly absorbed and is excellent for dry and mature skins as well as inflamed conditions.  It can in most cases be used on acne skin without any problems as it helps to control acne, it is also an antioxidant and so less likely to become rancid.

The particular source of this oil has resulted in providing more than 100 farmers with a stable income, health insurance; these individual farmers are directly benefiting from the sales of Jojoba since it was planted in their area.

Organic Rosehip oil

This wild rose is known by the people of Chile as "Rosa Mosqueta", and by scientists as Rosa Affinis Rubiginosa.  Rosehip’s healing properties were a well kept secret of the native people of Chile for centuries. Rose-hip oil is renowned for its skin-nourishing properties, being incredibly rich in linoleic and linolenic essential fatty acids which have been found to help in the regeneration and repair of skin tissue. It is suitable for face and body where the skin is dry, sensitive, mature or weathered.

Organic Rosehip oil has been shown to benefit people who suffer from skin conditions such as:

dermatitis, acne, eczema, scars, stretch-marks, pigmentation disorders, sunburn and brittle nails.

Rosehip oil absorbs instantly, allowing the skin to breathe while it goes to work to prevent the signs of premature ageing and assisting skin growth and repair.  Rosehip Oil contains natural tretinoin (also known as Retinoic acid), a derivative of Vitamin A, which is proven to delay the appearance of skin aging.

Organic Wheatgerm Oil

Wheatgerm oil is very high in vitamin E and essential fatty acids and because of its high vitamin E content, which is a natural antioxidant which helps to prevent rancidity, it is often added to other carrier oils to help lengthen their shelf life and to prevent oxidation.  When it is applied topically on to the skin it helps promote the formation of new cells, improve circulation, and to help repair sun damage to the skin. It is also used to help relieve the symptoms of dermatitis.  Wheatgerm oil also contains high amounts of pro-vitamin A and phytosterols and is a rich source of essential fatty acids, over 50% linoleic and 5% linolenic acid. The deep colour is caused by the presence of carotenoids, precursors of vitamin A. This oil is excellent for dry and mature skin.

Organic Calendula essential oil

A member of the Compositae family, Calendula is a herbaceous annual up to 50 cm high. The flowers are vivid orange and the stems sticky when cut. In India, which may have been the plant’s country of origin, the temple gods and goddesses are crowned with wreaths of marigolds.   Calendula massage oil has great healing, soothing and softening qualities which makes it a good choice to include when mixing a massage oil or preparing a carrier oil blend.  This oil is great to help with sore, inflamed and itchy skin conditions, also for burns, eczema and nappy rash, as well as sore cracked nipples. It is also used to treat thread and spider veins as well as varicose veins. Calendula is often recommended for cases of eczema, prematurely aged skin, and is good for regenerating and stimulating skin cell activity.

Lavender Essential Oil

Lavender is well known for its wound healing, cleansing and toning properties and removes redness and heat from the skin, making Lavender oil a suitable addition to any skin care preparation and for any skin type. Lavender has been shown to be very useful in the relief of burns in which case it can be applied neat to the area.

Tocopherol (vitamin E) – additional vitamin E is added to this formula to enhance oil stability and maximise the nourishing effects on skin health.

Dosage – Apply generously to skin and rub into affected area twice daily (morning and night ideally).

Potential Applications – dermatitis, acne, eczema, psoriasis, scars, stretch marks, uneven skin tone, dry skin, pigmentation disorders, sunburn (use alongside aftersun), brittle nails, massage (sports / relaxation), skin infections and for use during pregnancy and lactation.  Can be used as a shaving oil.

Known contraindications – not for internal use.

Not for use on children under the age of 4 months.

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding

This oil can be used safely for topical use throughout pregnancy and lactation. This may be particularly helpful for breast irritation or for stretch marks.
