The studio is close to the 4 resorts that make up the Aravis ski area - La Clusaz, Le Grand Bornand, St Jean De Sixt and Manigod. Just a 5 minute drive to St Jean and under 10 minutes to La Clusaz and Grand Bornard, it is ideally placed to experience the 220kms of prepared pistes of the Les Aravis ski area. Furthermore, it is less than 1 hours drive to Geneva airport, making it ideal for a quick trip to the Alps at the weekend.

Accommodation: We offer a good quality, privately owned studio to sleep up to 4 in the village of Les Villards sur Thone, one of the villages of the Aravis Massif, a ski area offering over 220kms of prepared pistes. The studio is well equipped and offers a great value base for a couple or small family looking for an affordable skiing holiday.
The ski area: The Les Aravis ski area offers 220kms of prepared pistes and is ideal for families, beginners and intermediates. It is a relatively undiscovered by the British, a lot of it's clientelle are weekenders from the nearby town of Annecy and it has a very French feel to the place. The ski area consists of 4 separate villages - La Clusaz, Le Grand Bornand, St Jean de Sixt and Manigod. A shuttle bus runs between all 4 villages and is included in the Aravis lift pass. Historical snow conditions have been good, due to it's proximity to Mont Blanc and an abundance of snow cannons, skiing is available from mid December until the end of April.
The village: Les Villard sur Thones is a small village on the road from St Jean de Sixt to Annecy. Nearby in Thone are shops, supermarkets, restaurants, bars and ski hire shops.
Studio Champmontagny.
The studio - Studio Champmontagny has only been used as a holiday home by the owners until this year. It is located in a quiet area to the North of the village with stunning views of the Aravis valley from the balcony. It comes fully equipped to sleep up to 4 people, ideal for a couple or small family. The apartment consists of a living room with a double sofa bed, a dining area for 4 and a small, well equipped kitchenette. There is a separate sleeping area containing a double bed, WC and bathroom
The kitchenette contains the usual cutlery and crockery, pots and pans as well as a refrigerator, small microwave oven / grill, desktop oven, steamer, pierrrade (grill for meat etc.) and electric hob.
Equipment – The studio comes fully equipped with TV, video player and a good selection of books and games for your entertainment.
Storage – A large ski locker is available in the basement of the apartment building.
Parking - Free Uncovered parking is available outside the apartment building
Price and booking details
Price for the studio rental in 2009/10 is from £250 to £499 per week. (This is the price for the rental of the accommodation, NOT per person). All weeks for the 2009/10 winter season except 26/12 to 02/01 are currently available. We are also flexible on start dates and durations outside the peak school holiday weeks so please contact us to discuss your requirements.
The buy it now price is £36 per night in the off peak period. For weeks outside the off peak period please contact us and we will set up a page for you on ebay.

We require a refundable security deposit to cover any damage / breakages. The deposit will be returned once the accommodation has been inspected after your stay.
