The historical snow record is very good throughout the season, the main ski area starts at 2000 metres, going up to 3200 metres. About Us: We offer a good quality, ground floor studio to sleep up to 4 in the beautiful village of Champagny en Vanoise, one of the villages of the La Plagne / Paradiski area offering over 420kms of prepared pistes. The studio was recently refurbished and is ideally located, only 100 metres to the ski lift and 150 metres from the resort centre. We have owned accommodation in Champagny for 6 years and have many return bookings each year from satisfied customers. We also have a 3 bedroom apartment avaialble for rent and can also offer a number of other privately owned properties to sleep from 2 to 20 people. See our ebay shop or contact us for more details.
The ski area: Champagny en Vanoise is at the southern end of the Paradiski area with its 420kms of prepared pistes and is a great resort for all levels of skiers. Beginners can take to the nursery slopes at 2000 metres with a high likelehood of snow throughout the season. Intermediates can improve their technique on the numerous blue and red runs of the La Plagne ski area. The more advanced can explore the blacks and off-piste of the massive paradiski area. Boarders are well catered for with a number of snowboard parks and boarder cross tracks throughout the area. Furthermore, it is only a 20 minute drive away from the 3 valleys resort of Courchevel, offering a further 600kms of linked pistes.
The village: Champagny is an old Savoy village at the head of the Vanoise valley. It is a traditional village of wooden houses, rustic farms, and narrow streets with a particularly friendly atmosphere. There are plenty of shops, restaurants, bars and a disco within easy walking distance of the accommodation.
Studio Le Dahut.
The Studio - Studio Le Dahut is located in the Planchamp area of Champagny, a quiet area, but close to all the activity. Having been totally refurbished in 2006 it comes fully equipped to sleep up to 4 people. It consists of a living room with a single and double sofa bed, a dining area for 4 and a small modern kitchenette . There is a door through to the separate sleeping area containing bunk beds, WC and bathroom
The kitchenette contains the usual cutlery and crockery, pots and pans as well as a dishwasher, refrigerator, small oven / grill and ceramic hob, all new in 2006.
In the separate sleeping area are bunk beds together with 2 large cupboards to house your clothing and other belongings.
The very modern bathroom is equipped with bath and shower ideal for relaxing after a hard days activity.
Equipment – The studio comes fully equipped with TV, DVD player, playstation and combined CD player, radio and alarm clock with a good selection of CDs, playstation games and DVDs for your entertainment.
Storage – A large ski locker is available in the basement of the apartment building.
Parking - Uncovered parking is available outside the studio building. Free covered parking is available in the village centre approximately 150m away from the studio.

Price and booking details
We offer self catering holidays only, but for those after a complete break, meals can be purchased at the highly regarded Hotel Les Glieres which is next door to the studio building.
Price for the studio rental in 2009/10 is from £290 to £550 per week. (This is the price for the rental of the accommodation, NOT per person). The only weeks NOT available for next season are 23/12/09 to 02/01/10, 11/02/10 to 18/02/10 and 20/02/01 to 27/02/10. All other weeks are currently available.
The buy it now price is £290 for a week in the off peak period.
This offers outstanding value, due to the increase in the value of the euro, it is now far cheaper than booking an equivalent property directly with French owners at todays exchange rate. We require a refundable security deposit to cover any damage / breakages. The deposit will be returned once the accommodation has been inspected after your stay.
We are flexible on start dates and durations (preferred 7 nights rental) to enable you to take advantage of the cheaper midweek flights and also miss the weekend rush to the slopes.
We can offer assistance with all your travel arrangements, equipment hire, even arranging lessons and lift passes. We have owned accommodation in Champagny for seven years and have a good knowledge of the local ammenities, personalities and the best travel options.
