It contains dismantling & assembly instructions for all parts and critical adjustments. It enables those with no  knowledge of knitting machines to make necessary repairs and adjustments without specialist tools. 

Servicing, repair and adjustment of both the lace carriage and the built in Knitradar where applicable to the model are included in the 150 plus pages of these manuals. Trouble shooting charts with causes and remedies are included.
