Most Gas BBQ's give you a maximum of 48,000 BTU's total power amongst 4 burners, so each burner gives you 12,000 BTU heat output. This BBQ has 55,000 BTU of total power amongst 4 burners; the back burner is 10,000 BTU's so each main burner produces an unrivalled 15,000 BTU's of heat. The benefit of this is that more heat can be concentrated in 1 area, which comes in particularly handy for the warming area, which with the extra heat can also be used as a slow cooking area. This BBQ makes lava rock redundant, the Flavourisers, or Sizzle Bars, spits back the fat as it drips on them producing an authentic barbeque flavour. Rotisserie cooking, or spit roasting is one of the most popular ways to cook meat on a barbeque grill. As the rotisserie constantly turns the meat, the food self bastes in its own juices, rendering meats exceptionally tender and moist. Whole birds and fish, beef, lamb, veal and pork roasts, as well as ribs are all excellent candidates for spit roasting. The BBQ benefits from a 10,000 BTU back burner for use with a rotisserie that is turned automatically about 2½ revolutions per minute. The rotisserie itself is made from heavy duty stainless steel with adjustable and settable meat-hooks. Once cooked, simply lower the heat to keep warm and serve at your leisure.

The design of this BBQ is excellent. Notice how all the exposed areas at a small child's head height are rounded, not sharp and angled. A small point you may think, until a child does have a collision with it. The BBQ also has locking wheels for stability and easy manoeuvrability, a thermometer which is particularly useful for slow cooking whilst the lid is down and an easily removable grease drip tray. Finally, we have provided you with a cover, Calor Propane regulator (for orange bottles) and High Pressure hose pipe, all you need to get is the gas.

Please note that the guarantee does not cover misuse or seriously adverse weather conditions. Also, the high pressure hose pipe should be changed annually and is therefore not covered. |
