Hi I am starshiptrooper51. When I was young I used to look at coins as a way of getting what I wanted (sweets etc.) But when I didn't have any I felt bad and could not buy the things that I wanted. But then after a while I started to look at coins in a different light, lovely big chunks of metal with beautiful pictures on them (I was hooked big time). I have been collecting ever since, when my finances allowed it. In the small town that I come from there was not much scope to collect coins but now ebay is here and I can collect wordwide from my PC and expand my coin collection(fantastic). Now the sadness comes into play as I have to part with some of my babies. But I think they are old enough now to go out into the world alone. I have always wondered what the last man or woman was thinking or doing when they had to part with maybe their last coin. (Buying bread for their starving kid, a last drink of whisky before a gunfight, or paying the tax man). Anyway I had better stop now, if you buy one of my babies I hope it gives you as much pleasure and joy as it has me over the years (Please be good to them(). Good bidding and good luck on ebay.
