Silver Sauce Boat Birmingham 1913 Decorative Edges

This is a very good Solid Silver Sauce Boat.  It has an applied greek key pattern around the top rim and in the middle of each side there is an embossed mask.  It has a furcated handle which has an embossed pattern to it.  This greek key pattern also runs around the rim of the square pedestal base.

Dimensions:       6.25 inches long from lip to handle, 3.25 inches wide at its widest middle point and 4 inches tall.  It weighs 163g         

Condition:         It is in very good condition with just some very light surface scratching which is only to be expected on a metal item and is commensurate with age and use, but this is minor           

Remarks:       A very pretty and decorative solid silver sauce boat that would look impressive on any table filled with horseraddish, cranberry, mint, apple, tartarte sauce etc   

Antique and vintage silver by its very nature has been previously used.  Silver is a comparatively soft metal and a combination of many years use invariably leaves its mark.  I do endeavour to describe all items accurately but do not expect any antique to be in "as new condition".
