Silver Plated Coffee Pot Large & Heavy J Dixon & Sons

This is a super Silver Plated (EPBM Electro Plated Britannia Metal) Large & Heavy Coffee Pot.  It has a part reeded decoration to the lower part of the body and this pattern is also on the lid.  It has a dark wooden handle and finial.  This is a heavy coffee pot and has clear marks on the base  

 Identifying Marks:  It has a maple leaf, underneath a trumpet J D & S (James Dixon & Sons) EPBM 2484 N 5 and these marks date it to between 1979 - 1935

Dimensions:  Just under 9.5 inches long spout to handle, the actual body 5.25 inches long, 3.5 inches wide and 9 inches tall.  It weighs 977g   

Condition:   It is in very good condition with just some light surface scratching, which is only to be expected on a metal item but this minor 

Remarks:    This is a very good substantial silver plated large and heavy coffee pot, and when not in use makes an impressive display item
