Vintage (c. 1920s) sterling silver round shape trinket box with beautifully painted lid. The lid is enamel painted miniature of Chateau de Chillon on Lake Geneva in Switzerland. The scenery is completed with three beautifully painted white swans & the small boat on the background. The painting is within the border of engraved floral braid motif. Textured silver bottom with absolutely beautiful side engraved with floral bouquets on the background of textured silver. Hinged lid is engraved on the inside and dated to 1932 (see photo). The lid is marked with "935"

Condition:

Excellent, enamel has absolutely no damage, i.e. no scratches, chips or repairs. Box has no dents or scratches.
