This is a uprated modern 20W/50 with all the qualities and more than is required for your 60`s four stroke or a more modern conventional engine such as a B M W. Use this where you need a good delivery at initial start up with good protection throughout the entire heat range. I would use this on engines where the big ends or mains are a shell type bearing and require a large flow of cool oil to keep things in perfect shape, especially in the depths of winter where monograde`s get too thick and starve the bearings in the initial startup. Being mineral based this is ideally suited to running in, In a increased load situation, also this can be, and is recomended as a transmission oil in gearbox`s, as it has all the ingredients for modern engines which have integeral transmissions.
